Tom is the Managing Partner of Burnt Island Ventures, a dedicated seed fund for the water sector. Founded in 2020, their $30m Fund I is 60% deployed across 16 companies from response management software to parametric insurance. Based in Brooklyn, Tom holds an MA from the University of Edinburgh and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
