Vice President, Climate Resilient Water Systems, Environmental Defense Fund  

Maurice Hall oversees Environmental Defense Fund’s work to manage groundwater more sustainably and revitalize working rivers and their ability to provide a resilient water supply. He focuses on developing collaborative water management approaches to build resilience to climate change and meet ecosystem needs alongside the needs of people, rural communities, farms and cities. He previously worked as Science and Engineering Lead for The Nature Conservancy’s California Water Program, CH2M Hill, and EARTHWORKS Restoration, a habitat restoration firm. He earned a PhD in watershed sciences from Colorado State University and B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.
