Climate Analytics Director, Aon
Daniel is Climate Analytics Director at Aon where he focuses on the delivery of climate change analytics to financial institutions, insurance, and public sector clients. Prior to joining Aon, Daniel spent 8 years with Verisk (formerly AIR Worldwide) and most recently served as Senior Manager in the Global Resilience Practice, tasked with helping governments, non-governmental organizations, and private firms prepare for and recover from disasters by facilitating the connection of capital to risk through insurance-linked securities and other financial instruments, in addition to assessing the evolving risk from climate change (acute, chronic, and transition risks). He also worked to introduce Verisk's analytics to the housing finance industry to enable mortgage lenders, servicers, and investors to quantify climate risk to loan portfolios, prepare presentations to boards of directors, and respond to emerging ESG disclosure and regulatory requirements. Daniel holds an MSc in Geospatial Analysis from University College London and a BA in French, Economics, and Italian from Vassar College.
