Columbia Water Center’s Ethiopia Project Featured in Nature News

On June 17th, the international science journal Nature featured the Columbia Water Center’s Koraro, Ethiopia project as one of its “five ways to produce fresh water from unusual sources.”

The Koraro project addresses the areas severe water shortages by using an ancient water technology to catch rainwater during the brief rainy season and recharge local aquifers and springs.
